Jojoba oil, properties, benefits, and uses

As you know, jojoba oil is the ingredient of many celebrities to show off perfect skin. Your feet can also get those benefits, and therefore, we want to show you what it is. Let's get started!

What is jojoba oil?

Jojoba oil is a liquid obtained from the seeds of the Simmondsia Chinensis plant, a shrub native to the Sonora Desert (USA-Mexico border) and the Mojave Desert (USA).

This oil is extracted naturally by cold pressing to maintain all its properties, and it is rich in antioxidants and vitamins E, A, and D.

It has similarities with sebum (a waxy substance produced by our skin glands) which makes it non-comedogenic (not causing skin pore blockages) and hypoallergenic (with  fewer allergic reactions), as it acts as a natural skin conditioner.

Jojoba oil is one of the most popular and used oils in natural cosmetics, and its benefits for the skin are multiple. If we add that it is suitable for all skin types, especially for sensitive skin, it becomes an indispensable part of any daily personal care routine.

What is jojoba oil used for, and what are its benefits?

Among many of its great benefits, the most outstanding are the following:

  • It has antioxidant compounds, so it's known to have anti-aging properties.
  • It is a humectant, so it keeps the skin moisturized.
  • It has vitamin E and vitamin D, which provide a protective action on the skin.
  • It is astringent, so it helps us treat skin conditions such as foot calluses.

Uses for repairing damaged hands and feet

If you have calluses, corns, or dry and cracked areas on your feet and hands (or elbows), you should have some cream with jojoba oil on your bedside table. Its moisturizing and anti-fungal properties will work miracles.

Did you imagine that jojoba oil was so amazing? There's more...

Several Imperial Feet's products include Jojoba oil in their formula to heal different foot conditions. These include:

Warts Solution

Plantar warts are a quite frequent complaint among people. Sometimes, this skin lesion can be confused with other pathologies such as corn. Warts Solution penetrates to eliminate common and plantar warts.

Honey Balm

A wonderful skin softener!, plus it smells good. It protects the dermis and prevents dryness. Honey Balm is an excellent ally in your daily foot care routine.

Nail Mycosis Solution

Foot mycosis is very contagious, so we must take special precautions to avoid the fungus being spread to other areas of the body. This product provides positive results, proven by podiatrists.

Now you know more about this famous ingredient!

And by the way, we should pronounce it ho-ho-ba, but don't worry if at the beginning it is difficult. What matters is to have its benefits.!

See you next time!
