To learn more about plantar warts, we explain them below:

What are plantar warts?
Plantar warts are among the most common types of warts and appear mainly on the soles, sides, and toes. This particular type of wart is more annoying and painful than other kinds because of the position in which it arises. Precisely for this reason, many people are looking for a quick and effective way to remove them.

What causes plantar warts on feet?
Warts are caused by the Human Papillomavirus as a result of exposing our feet and hands to humid and contaminated surfaces, like public showers, pool floors, and gyms. So, we recommend you always wear shoes and completely dry your hands and feet after washing them, even between the toes.

What foot warts look like?

The majority of warts are gritty pimple-looking bumps that are gray, brown, or even nude color and can sometimes have blackheads on them. Never scratch them or try to pop them.

Some signs and symptoms that may occur before the appearance of a plantar wart are:

  • Foot pain and the sensation of a lump or pebble under the foot, especially when walking.

  • Leg pain or back pain. This is usually due to poor posture worn because of pain under the foot.

  • Harder areas of the skin and a rough, bumpy surface are the most common features of this type of wart. Some may be flatter, but protruding warts are more frequent.

The good news is that Imperial Feet's Wart Solution is effective and quite easy to apply: using the handy nozzle and gently massage twice a day.  Eventually, warts will disappear, usually after a week of using the product. Please, take note the product is not suitable for children under 3 years old and on open wounds. Consult your doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

It is also recommended to maintain healthy lifestyle habits: a healthy diet, rich in fruits and vegetables; routine physical exercise; moisturize the skin every day (small wounds are a gateway for new warts), and rest properly.  In other words, everything that contributes to keeping our immune system in the best possible condition.
