The exact steps to heal a Fungal Nail
Toenail fungus, also called onychomycosis, is a common fungal infection of the toenail. Although you can get infected easily, the stubbornness of the infection can make it difficult to heal. Let’s take a look at the fungal nail treatment and how you can make it a lot easier to get rid of the nail fungus.
Step 1 is recognizing the infection. Although this step might seem pretty obvious, it’s not always easy to spot a nail fungal. The first symptoms of getting a nail fungus are white or yellow-brown spots that appear under the tip of your fingernail or toenail. The further it’ll grow, the more the nail will discolor to white, brown, or yellow on one or more of the toenails. It may spread and cause the nails to thicken or crack.
Even if the infection seems mild, treating it is very important as fungus spreads and grows easily. This can make your own infection way worse, or even affect others.
Once you’re sure that you have a nail fungus, it’s time to start the Nail Mycosis Treatment. The Fungal Nail Treatment Set comes with a bottle of the Nail Mycosis Solution and Shoe and Sock Spray. Each can be used on its own, but the combination makes a powerful duo.
The Nail Mycosis Solution comes in a bottle without a swab. This way you touch the nail directly as little as possible and decrease the chances of spreading. The infection originates in the bed of the nail, that’s why you start off by filing the top surface of the nail 2-3 times per week. Apply the solution 2 times a day, in the morning and evening. Being consistent with routine is key, you don’t want to give the fungal a chance to grow.
Now the only thing left to do is disinfecting your shoes and socks with the Shoe and Sock Spray. Did you know that a fungal is able to live in your shoes for up to a year? When you’ve been trying to heal your infection for a long time or it keeps coming back, you might’ve been reinfecting yourself.
When following the correct steps, it will take 3 weeks up to 4 months for the results to become visible. The nail will grow out healthy, so look at the bottom of the nail to see the progress clearly. If the progress seems a little slow, keep in mind that there are a few factors, like weather, tight shoes and diets, that can slow down the growth of the nail.
