Nights without sleep. Waking up with cramps. The tiredness and fatigue that comes at the end of a long day on your feet. These are not only discomforts, but they can also be symptoms that you need more magnesium. Imperial Feet Magnesium Oil Spray provides transdermal magnesium chloride that is absorbed directly through the skin, without any digestion needed, for muscle relaxation, improved sleep and rapid recovery. Imperial Feet care product from Imperial Feet since 2001.

What Is Magnesium Oil?

Magnesium Oil is a high concentration of Magnesium Chloride (MgCl₂) in water, not ingested as a pill. Topical application refers to the magnesium being absorbed through the skin, and so directly into the muscles. No digestive side effects. No delayed absorption in the gut. The legs, calf and soles of the feet are among the most effective application sites as they have a high pore density near the muscles that require this most.

Key Benefits of Topical Magnesium Chloride

01

Muscle Relaxation & Cramp Relief

Magnesium helps regulate calcium levels inside muscle cells, allowing muscles to relax fully after contraction. When magnesium levels are low, muscles may not release properly, which can contribute to cramps and spasms.

Applying magnesium directly to the calves and feet may provide more targeted support than waiting for an oral supplement to pass through the digestive system.

02

Sleep Support

Magnesium may help calm the nervous system by supporting the activity of GABA, a neurotransmitter associated with relaxation. Many users include magnesium oil in their nighttime routine to help them unwind.

Apply it approximately 20 to 30 minutes before going to bed for a simple and grounding evening ritual.

03

Skin Health

Transdermal magnesium may support collagen production and help calm skin inflammation. Regular use on the feet and legs may also support improved hydration and a calmer, less reactive skin surface over time.

How to Use Magnesium Oil

Apply magnesium oil consistently to clean, dry skin for targeted muscle, sleep, and recovery support.

1

Choose the Application Area

Apply to clean, dry skin. The legs, calves, and soles of the feet are ideal areas.

2

Spray and Massage

Spray 5 to 10 times over the selected area and massage using upward strokes toward the knee.

3

Allow It to Absorb

Leave the product on the skin for 10 to 20 minutes before putting on socks or clothing.

4

Use at the Right Time

Apply 20 to 30 minutes before bed for nighttime support, or immediately after exercise for muscle recovery.

Note

A slight tingling or itching sensation can be a normal first-use reaction as magnesium interacts with nerve receptors in the skin. It is generally harmless and may reduce within 2 to 4 weeks of regular use.

If the sensation feels too strong, gently rinse the area and reapply later to slightly damp skin.

Pro Tip

Apply magnesium oil after a warm foot soak. Warm water can help prepare the skin and may allow the product to absorb more comfortably.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use a magnesium spray instead of a magnesium pill?

Oral magnesium works, but many of the supplements are absorbed during digestion, and higher doses often have laxative effects. Magnesium Oil does not get into the gut; it is absorbed through the skin and may be used on the particular muscle or region for relief. Topical application is a convenient option for those who are unable to take the medication by mouth or prefer to use a topical treatment to relieve specific symptoms in their legs and feet.

Is the tingling or itching normal?

Yes completely. The tingling sensation occurs due to the magnesium's high concentration reacting with receptors in the skin, and is not dangerous. Usually decreases after a few weeks of regular use. Use on slightly moistened skin or dilute with a little water on the skin before rubbing in if it feels uncomfortable.

How often can I use it?

Use is safe and beneficial to the majority of people on a daily basis. To prevent cramps and aid sleep, apply before bedtime. Apply after exercise for post workout recovery. You can use as much topical magnesium as you like, since too much will not be absorbed beyond the body's requirements.

Is it safe during pregnancy or if I have diabetes?

Both are safe for topical use of magnesium. This is popular among pregnant women because they tend to have increased magnesium requirements and leg cramps during pregnancy, but always check with a midwife/doctor first. The formula is free of parabens and any other irritants, which is great for diabetics. Do not apply to broken skin, wounds or an area where there is a current infection and see your healthcare provider if you have more serious circulation problems or neuropathy.
