Frequently Asked Questions
Is this safe for diabetics?
Yes. Gentle enough to be used daily on sensitive or diabetic skin, it is paraben-free, non-toxic and diabetic-friendly. Before using, ask your healthcare provider if you have active wounds, ulcers or severe skin damage on your feet.
Does this spray help prevent an athlete's foot?
Gives appropriate preventive assistance. This action produces an inhospitable environment on the skin to fungal and bacterial growth, through the action of Tea Tree Oil, Salicylic Acid and Piroctone Olamine. Use our Athlete's Foot Treatment along with this spray for an active infection of Athlete's Foot.
How is this different from regular body deodorant sprayed on feet?
A body spray is not a foot deodorant because there are various conditions that deodorants must address in the foot that are not similar to those encountered anywhere else. This spray features foot specific activities, such as Piroctone Olamine, Salicylic Acid and Allantoin, which work on foot specific odor causes and condition the foot skin against friction and sweat breakdown.
What is the difference between a foot antiperspirant and a foot deodorizer?
This deodorizer will remove the odor after it has occurred. An antiperspirant helps decrease the amount of sweat, which bacteria that cause odor depend on to grow. Imperial Feet Foot Deodorizer Spray works on both: Aluminium Chlorohydrate is a sweat inhibitor and Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus and Piroctone Olamine are bacteria inhibitors which kills the bacteria that cause odors.
How long does the foot spray last on my feet?
The formula offers protection for 24 hours with only one application. If you sweat too much or suffer from hyperhidrosis, apply twice a day, in the morning and/or at night, for the whole day.
Can I spray this inside my shoes?
Yes, the formula can be applied on shoes as well as on feet. Spray 2–3 times inside shoes to ensure that shoes remain fresh and bacteria-free. Non-deodorized shoes will collect their own bacteria and each time you put them on your feet, you get reinfected.
